Handmade Bicycle Show

Hey all...Greg is wrapping up the 2008 North American Bicycle Show today in Portland, and we will all be looking forward to hearing what the man say to say about the show, how it went and all the bikes that we got to see. Also, we are waiting to see how the public reacted to Donkelope Bikes first major showing! I have been looking around this internet deal and found some press (or photos) of Greg's tandem and all the other bikes. So check out urbanvelo.org and view the blog's about the show.

well, the packer season is over. what a way to go out. that shit hurt. oh well, good riding weather is getting closer, and the North American Handmade Bicycle Show is in a couple of weeks. very exciting. lots of last minute preperations, like everyone else i'm sure.
found a cool new mag. it's titled Life? lots of good photos that make you want to ride trails. check it out.

what a playoff game. after a sketch-ball start, the pack pretty much showed everyone how badass they are, and how week the nfc west is. nfc champ game coming up!!
the hats are finally done. they turned out awesome. shaun does excellent work. still getting ready for the NAHMBS. sent all of the neccessary info in, still waiting to hear what's up. but definitely planning on being there. that's it for now.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
big plans for 2008. it looks like there will be an updated webpage soon. the nahmbs is in february. donkelope bikes is going to Belgium in april to show support for the racers at Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. should be an unbelievable time. can't wait. a packer super bowl would be nice. 13-3. that's the record that took them to the big dance.

well, the packers pretty much got kicked in the nuts on sunday. i'd rather they lose to the lions than lose to the bears. oh well, first round bye!! bring it! looks like donkelope bikes will represent at the NAHMBS this february in portland. should be a good time. i thougt the thing was full. but recently found out there were still spots available. hopefully not in the basement or anything. looking forward to it. that's it. go pack!! late, G

here at donkelope bikes, we hope everybody is having a great winter and a good holiday season. baker is finally getting some serious snow. everything is pretty much covered, so you can rip it up! the packers are still kicking tons of ass, and ready to storm the playoffs. 12-2, oh yeah!! here's a pic of the new tandem. minus paint. it's a blast to ride. 8 spd internal hub. nice town and country cruiser. the beanies and cycling caps will be picked up before the nude year. can't wait. that's all, G

Well, it's december, and the snow has been flying...a little bit. mt baker was open for about a week, then some warm weather happened. we went up one day, a lot of exposed trees, stumps, rocks, etc. received the new decals. pretty sweet lookin'. they look good on my freshly powdercoated shred machine. putting some touches on the tandem before paint. and the custom fork. the beanies and caps should be on the way. then embroidery. go pack!
